Who doesn’t like to battle other-dimensional horrors in an original sci-fi setting with battlemechs and cyborg demons? Right now you can download the CthulhuTech quickstart guide for free on their downloads page.
A little about CthulhuTech:
CthulhuTech is an innovative storytelling game that started out as a combination of two popular genres. The first was that of cosmic horror, made popular by H. P. Lovecraft and culminating in the modern day with elements of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy and John Carpenter’s In the Mouth of Madness. The second was that of giant mecha Japanese animation, made popular by such series as Robotech, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Rahxephon. But the setting has grown far beyond what it started out to be. CthulhuTech is now a truly unique hybrid of genres – cosmic horror, anime, post-apocalypse, traditional horror, and science fiction blended together seamlessly.
So the creators of King of RPGs have put up a trailer for their graphic novel. This is something I am going to purchase since it is a combination of two of my hobbies: Manga and RPGs.
At this moment I am listening to Shot Muic’s SUPER SHOT-美少女ゲームリミックスコレクション album. It is a a compilation CD of the best Bishoujo Game Themes remixed by DJ SHIMAMURA, JAKAZiD, StripE, DJ Sharpnel, Aura Qualic(DJ A.Q.), Blasterhead, REDALiCE, Kors K , Disconation , and Hirojack!!
So the much-anticipated film comes out today (Feb.6, 2010) in Japanese theaters. Since the first season of the anime (and now the second) are licensed for distribution in North America, I believe it is only a matter of time till the movie gets licensed too. I have watched both seasons of the series and although the endless eight arc was a bit much, I still enjoyed both seasons. I have also read the first two light novels and I am looking forward to the thirds release in English (July 1 2010).
At the moment I am listening to Underground Makina Connectionz Vol.2 which is a compilation with tracks by K-rlos DJ, Frank Diaz, Karlita, and DJ Depath & M-project!
